Design Journal: Child hood games

Going back to childhood I just remembered a game that my friends and I used to play we found out that a laser pointer pointed at a fire alarm even for a second would make it go off. With this knowledge and not wanting to pay for laser force and head into the city instead we went into the bush out the back of my old house with this equipment late at night and had a massive game of laser force. Since you could set the alarms to different tones and they didn’t shut up till you switched them off it was a great idea for a game we could play. Eventually we got craft and started climbing trees but we had to stop when my friend Dan got bitten by a spider, if only we could go back to that time and steal all the ideas we had as kids for profit.
